Terms and Conditions

1) Binding Contract

1(1) Our cleaning services may be ordered by telephone, e-mail, and in doing so you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Our acceptance of your booking brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

(2) End Of Lease, Spring Clean, Bound Clean, After Party Clean

(2.1) A minimum of 3 hours per any of the once off cleaning visit applies.
(2.2) Any estimate of how long it will take our cleaners to do the job is being provided by us it is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a home of similar size. It is difficult to estimate precisely how long such the job may take and a degree of flexibility may be required. You are advised that a one-off spring or moving in or out ,end of lease ,after party clean may take double the length of time required for regular domestic

(2.3) Any of the above Cleaning services does not include professional carpet and upholstery cleaning, or professional outside window cleaning. Fridges and Freezers must be thoroughly defrosted before cleaning can start. Kitchen cupboards must be emptied before cleaning can start

(2.4) Ovens must be in a condition that will enable thorough cleaning with standard professional chemical products. We will do our best to make sure your electrical appliances, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, are cleaned to a high standard. However, if they have not been cleaned for some time we won't be held liable for ingrained dirt that cannot be cleaned using standard professional cleaning materials.

(2.5) It is always essential you are present at any of the once off cleaning services to ensure that you are happy, point out areas you want specifically cleaned,

(2.6) We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change. A minimum of 4 hours per cleaning visit applies . The quotation is based on a thorough assessment of the
work to be done. While every effort is made to estimate the work as accurately as possible, it is sometimes necessary to include an additional sum in the final account for labor and materials, which could not be foreseen at the estimation stage. These items will always be discussed with you at the earliest opportunity.

(2.7)We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change. A
minimum of 4 hours per cleaning visit applies. You agree to provide a list of tasks and all cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with us. All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order. If you do not have cleaning materials and ask us to supply our own ,then a $50 fees charge will be charged.

(2.8) If our cleaners need to collect keys from a third party's address outside the postal code of the premises where the work is to be carried out then a$15 charge may apply. .

(2.9) You may cancel any of the services you booked by giving us at least 24 hours advanced notice. You agree to pay a $20.00 cancellation fee per visit if you cancel any of the services you booked less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment

(2.99) You agree to pay the full price of any of the services you booked in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; or a problem with your keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.

(3) Cancellation by us

(3.1) We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

we have insufficient staff to fulfill the booking you have ordered ;
we do not cover your area; or
one or more of the services you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.
And If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail

(3.2) By entering into a contract with Sara's Five Star cleaning services , you agree that after the termination of the cleaning service you will not hire or use any domestic services provided by a present or past
cleaner introduced to you by Sara's Five Star cleaning services . If you do wish to hire or use domestic services provided by such a cleaner then you must pay a referral fee of $5000.

(4) Complaints

(4.1) In case of a complaint, or not happy with the service provided we ask you to notify us within 24 hours of completion of the cleaning work. We will not consider any complaints that are notified after a period of 24 hours. If you are dissatisfied with the work, a cleaner must be allowed to return and re-do the job at no extra charge but should be within 24hours of completion of the cleaning work .

(5) Payment

(5.1 )Bank Transfer. Our Bank Details will be provided when you book your cleaning service& agreed to pay by Direct Bank Transfer
(5.2) Cash paid to our cleaner on the day of the clean
(5.3)paying by cheque made to the cleaner
(5.4) If it is not possible to obtain full payment for our services then we can cancel the contract and/or suspend any further bookings to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have.

(6) Non Payment
(6.1) Sara's Five Star Cleaning Services will collect any outstanding monies owed to us. If as a result we have to use a debt collecting agency or county court to secure payment, you agree to pay any debt collecting agency fees, court fees, legal cost, or interest that will occur due to the result of non payment of your outstanding bill.

(7) Acknowledgment and acceptance of your booking

(7.1) By ordering our service by telephone, e-mail, or you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant Australian law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts .Sara's Five Star Cleaning reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving

(8) Changes to legal notices

(8.1) We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.
(9) Invalidity

(9.1) If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

(10) Privacy

10.1) You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.

(11)Third party rights

(11.1) Nothing in this Agreement is intended to, nor shall it confer any rights on a third party.
